Tanner Novlan Says He Loves Being the “Liberty Biberty” Guy (EXCLUSIVE)
Now that Tanner Novlan is starring as Finn on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL, he can finally be known as more than the guy from the Liberty Mutual commercial! “Hey, Liberty Biberty’s not too bad!” the actor declared to Soaps In Depth with a laugh. “That was pretty fun!”
The popular ad in which Novlan appeared as a struggling actor struggling with his lines was in heavy rotation for quite a while, and he was actually thrilled to be recognized in the street and asked to say “Liberty Biberty” in public. “Yes!” he revealed. “And I love every minute of it. Because you do a project like B&B and you’re like wow, the impact it’s going to have and what to expect. But that was something that was out of the blue. When something like that happens, it doesn’t happen as often as it used to, so I’ve been enjoying every minute of it.
“It’s really fun to be in a Home Depot and have somebody look at you and go, ‘Hey! Liberty Biberty!’” Novlan added with a laugh. “It doesn’t happen very often. And now, if I ever forget my lines on set, they really know what to expect. It’s what they hired!”
