B&B’s Tanner Novlan Stars in a “Joyful” Holiday Film!

Tags:

It’s nearly time for a new round of made-for-television holiday movies, and The Bold & The Beautiful viewers will want to set aside Thursday, November 28 — after they’ve finished Thanksgiving dinner, of course — to catch Tanner Novlan (Finn) in a new Hallmark Channel original film!

Novlan is part of an ensemble cast in Debbie Macomber’s Joyful Mrs. Miracle, the latest installment in the network’s Mrs. Miracle film franchise that will air as part of the network’s annual “Countdown to Christmas” programming event. Based on author Debbie Macomber’s beloved character, the movies began back in 2009 with the late Doris Roberts as the original Mrs. Miracle, a nanny/matchmaker/caretaker who always seems to save the day. This time around, Rachel Boston plays Annie Merkel, presumably a descendant of Roberts’ Emily Merkel/Mrs. Miracle. “Nothing says Thanksgiving like gathering around the TV for a Christmas movie!” Novlan and Boston cheered in a joint Instagram post announcing the movie. “Tune in Nov 28th!”

In addition to Boston and Novlan, Pascal Mamothe-Kipnes, Matthew James Dowden, and Max Lloyd Jones play three adult siblings who return to their childhood home at Christmas to honor their late grandmother’s wishes and try to agree on new leadership for the family’s company. That’s when Annie enters the picture, posing as an estate planner and using her special brand of Christmas magic to help the siblings find common ground and rekindle their bonds. As Charlotte (Lamothe-Kipnes) and her brothers try to sort through their family conflict, she also reconnects with Austin (Novlan), the manor’s caretaker and her first love.

One person who will be tuning in on Thanksgiving night is Novlan’s wife, Kayla Ewell (ex-Caitlin). “So excited!” she commented on her husband’s post, while the actor’s B&B co-star Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter) celebrated the movie announcement by posting the raised hands emoji several times in a row.

Debbie Macomber’s Joyful Mrs. Miracle will premiere at 8 p.m. ET on Thanksgiving Day on the Hallmark Channel.
