It’s often said that a parent never gets over the death of a child. But General Hospital star Kristina Wagner (Felicia) has found a meaningful way to forever keep her late son, Harrison, close to her heart. On June 25, the actress revealed that she had gotten a tattoo of his handwriting as a tribute!

Wagner bared her inner arm — as well as her soul — to show off her ink in an Instagram post. The closeup image features half of the GH star’s face with her arms raised above her head. On the inner part of her right arm is a message Harrison once wrote, presumably to his mother. Although some of the note is hidden by Wagner’s beautiful blonde hair, the words “I love” are visible, as is his sign-off, “Love, Harrison.”

“When you’re afraid, you close yourself off,” Wagner wrote in her inspirational and heartfelt post. “When you open your heart and mind, what comes back from the universe is pure love and joy, and you begin to understand that your loved ones are still with you. There is no blame, fault, anger, or guilt — just unconditional love that gives you the freedom to go on. His signature is on my flesh until I die. And when I die, I’ll get that hug. But I can wait.”

As many GH viewers know, Wagner and her ex-husband, Jack Wagner (Frisco), lost their younger son on June 6, 2022. In the two years since Harrison died, the actress has made several posts about her journey with grief after losing her son. “Kristina, you are the biggest, baddest warrior, moving through it all with grace,” Wagner’s best pal and co-star, Finola Hughes (Anna), commented. “I stand in awe of your journey.”

The sweet tattoo comes a few weeks after Wagner introduced her followers to her new kitten — which also has a special connection to her late son. The actress named the cat Snoous, which she explained was the name of Harrison’s childhood imaginary friend.
