Don’t Miss Maurice Benard’s Interview With Michael Easton

Regular viewers of State of Mind know that General Hospital star Maurice Benard (Sonny) conducts some powerful, in-depth interviews with his guests on his YouTube series. So fans will not want to miss the episode premiering on Sunday, June 30, because he will be speaking with Michael Easton (ex-Finn), who recently left the soap, his final episode airing on June 27.

To promote the show, Benard shared a quick video on Instagram shot immediately after their talk. “This is State of Mind,” he said. “I just did an interview with Michael Easton.” Benard then paused and shook his head as Easton put his hand on his shoulder. “I cried at the end,” Benard admitted. Easton smiled and added: “So did I.” 

“He was just… wait ’til you see this interview,” Benard added. “I’m not joking. Wait ’til you see it.” He then thanked his viewers, Easton, and finally confessed: “I’m still emotional.”

Naturally, Easton will discuss his acting career, which includes roles on the soaps Days of Our Lives and One Life To Live as well as his multiple characters on GH. But Benard always goes deep on State of Mind, so expect some personal revelations and emotional conversations as the layers are peeled back.

Easton’s final scenes on GH were heartbreaking, and fans needed boxes of tissues to get through his last episodes. So make sure you’re stocked up again before you watch the new episode of State of Mind!
