Learn Soap Secrets From Emmy-Winning Writer Lisa Seidman!

Don’t miss a chance to learn backstage secrets from a writer who penned both daytime and primetime soaps when Lisa Seidman visits host Alan Locher for a live chat in The Locher Room on Thursday, Oct. 5, at 3 p.m. ET!

Seidman’s career started in 1984 writing episodes of CAGNEY & LACEY, and she went on to write scripts for popular primetime sudsers DALLAS, FALCON CREST, KNOTS LANDING, and the sequel mini-series KNOTS LANDING: BACK TO THE CUL-DE-SAC. She also spent five years in Russia writing soaps and won the country’s equivalent of an Emmy for best show.

Her daytime credits include ANOTHER WORLD, DAYS OF OUR LIVES, GUIDING LIGHT, ONE LIFE TO LIVE, SUNSET BEACH, and THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS. She has received multiple Daytime Emmy Award nominations during her career and has won trophies for her work on DAYS and Y&R. 

She has also taught writing at USC and UCLA, so between her primetime and daytime soap writing, she’ll have plenty of great stories to share. Don’t miss it!
