Catch up With RYAN’S HOPE Star Helen Gallagher!

Don’t miss your chance to catch up with a daytime icon when Helen Gallagher sits down for a live chat in The Locher room on Thursday, July 27, at 3 p.m. ET! And joining her for this special interview will be Malcolm Groome, who played her TV son, Patrick Ryan, on RYAN’S HOPE!

Gallagher is beloved to soap fans for her role as Maeve Ryan on RYAN’S HOPE, which she played for the entire run of the ABC soap, from 1975-1989. During those years, the actress was nominated five times for the Outstanding Lead Actress Daytime Emmy Award, and took home the trophy three times, in 1976, 1977, and 1988.

In addition to her iconic role on RYAN’S HOPE, Gallagher was also a Broadway star, winning her first Tony Award in 1952 for Pal Joey. Her second Tony came in 1971 for her role in the musical No, No, Nanette. She also played Nickie in Sweet Charity before ultimately replacing Gwen Verdon in the lead role of Charity.

Between her work on stage and screen, Gallagher will have lots to talk about, so don’t miss it!
