All About Gregory Harrison’s TV Return!
Although Gregory Harrison said goodbye to General Hospital earlier this month when Gregory passed away in his sleep, the fan favorite will be returning to another role later this year! Hallmark Mystery announced two new movies are coming to the network’s popular Signed, Sealed, Delivered franchise!
The series follows four postal workers — Eric Mabius (Oliver), Kristin Booth (Shane), Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe (Rita), and Geoff Gustafson (Norman) — who work in the fictional Dead Letter Office at the main branch of the Denver USPS. As the team tries to return lost and supposedly undeliverable mail to its rightful recipient, viewers learn the stories behind each letter as well as its writer and the person intended to receive the correspondence. After starting off as a two-hour pilot movie and 10-episode series on Hallmark Channel in 2014, the franchise moved over to the Hallmark Mystery channel where an additional 12 movies aired (including a Christmas-themed one). Harrison joined the ensemble cast in 2015’s Truth Be Told as Oliver’s estranged father, Joe O’Toole, himself a former USPS and FedEx employee. After father and son repaired their relationship, Joe stuck around as part of the “POstables,” as the group is called.
“The family was all together again,” Lowe captioned an Instagram photo featuring the cast (including Harrison) reunited again on set after nearly three years. “We can’t wait to share these new movies with all of you. Our hearts are full.”
Hallmark announced that the first of the two new movies, Signed, Sealed, Delivered: A Tale of Three Letters, will premiere later this year followed by Signed, Sealed, Delivered: To The Moon and Back in 2025. The movies reportedly began filming in the Vancouver, Canada, area in early April and wrapped in mid-May.
